Fleet management software by community4you AG in use at BKW in Switzerland
The international acting energy and infrastructure company relies on comm.fleet and comm.cars for the fleet management.
The BKW group is an internationally active energy- and infrastructure company based in Bern. It occupies over 6.000 employees. Thanks to their network of firms and competences, it provides their customers with comprehensive solutions. They plan, build and run the energy production and supply infrastructure for private and public companies and bid digital business models for renewable energy. Efficiency and sustainability of the company are attained through the fleet management software comm.fleet and vehicle procurement software comm.cars.
The application of both of the products by the software manufacturer community4you AG makes it possible for the BKW to streamline and optimise their fleet processes at management and vehicle procurement level through automated processes. Thanks to the outstanding features of community4you’s own open-EIS integration platform, the close integration of the comm.fleet and comm.cars applications with existing IT applications such as SAP-FI, SAP-HR and SAP-MM could be implemented flawlessly.
Three web frontends have been implemented within the project. Vehicle rental and online damage report, as well as an automated vehicle procurement workflow, including approval procedures, have been deployed as a web application and as native applications for iOS and Android. This makes it possible for the BKW to carry out a mobile vehicle reservation at several locations by means of the online disposition via different user groups, which makes the disposition processes significantly more efficient and supports the corporate goal of sustainable resource use.
